[Holothon 2.0] #1 Color Club Angel Kiss

Holothon 2.0 è l'appuntamento che le mie amicicie ed io vi proporremo per l'estate 2014. Si tratta dell'aggiornamento dell'Holothon dello scorso anno (col beneplacito di Simona di Light Your Nails!); quale stagione migliore dell'estate per mostrare l'arcobaleno sulle unghie? Quest'anno siamo agguerritissime, e possiamo contare sulla presenza di alcune facce nuove. *si frega le mani* Non vorrete rischiare di perdervi i nostri gioiellini, vero?

I'm SO excited, because today begins Summer, and today starts Holothon 2.0.
What is this, exactly?, you may ask yourself. The answer is that Holothon 2.0 is the updated version of Holothon, the summer event of last year (the original idea belongs to Simona from Light Your Nails! and you could find all the entries here). Every fridays my friends and I we'll show you an holo nail polish until September, 21th. So,stop babbling and get the party started!

Color Club Angel Kiss è qualcosa di pUtente. Spaccaretina ad oltranza, stroboscopico, quasi. Fa parte della collezione Halo Hues del 2012, e sembra uno smalto a base argento, ma in realtà il colore di fondo è il verde. Ce ne accorgiamo solo quando lo togliamo. Prima siamo troppo prese ad osservare l'arcobaleno...
Non gli serve una base specifica, come l'Aqua Base di Nfu Oh. Non lascia particolari segnacci, niente spazi vuoti, niente segni del pennello. Non c'è bisogno di ricorrere alla tecnica sandwich perché è brillantissimo e resistente. Asciugatura rapida e durata da highlander. La formula è un sogno (unica accortezza: rotolate la boccetta tra le mani a testa in giù per un paio di minuti) e l'effetto holo è qualcosa di assolutamente deciso. Il ragazzo ha carattere, insomma!

Color Club Angel Kiss is an astonishing linear holo with a green base . It belongs to the first Halo Hues series (2012); the formula is quite a dream. It's P-E-R-F-E-C-T. Sometimes, strong linear holos need a specific base for best results. You may have empty spots on layering the second coat; BUT this little gem is pretty angelic. You may use the glorious Aqua Base of Nfu Oh OR a simply base coat. It's the same. In my humble experience, of course. Last time I have spent the weekend at my parents-in-law place, I forgot the Aqua Base bottle, so I just used a simple base coat. It worked, as you can see by my pictures.

L'ultima foto l'ho scattata dentro casa, alla luce indiretta. Come potete vedere, l'effetto olografico è bello deciso anche in interni!

Sono rimasta soddisfattissima (si potrà dire?) da Angel Kiss (e dal suo fratocugino Cosmic Fate), credo sia uno dei migliori smalti olografici in mio possesso, se non *IL* migliore.

E questo è il primo holografico che tiro fuori dal cilindro. Qui sotto, potrete trovare le scelte delle mie amicicie di boccetta e la bacheca di Pinterest, qualora vi foste perse qualcosa.

Noi ci vediamo venerdì prossimo con un altra Holo-parade. Non vorrete perdervela, vero?

I've taken the last picture with indirect sunlight, and you can see the linear holo effect quite perfect. It's just a little shy, don't you agree?
I have to admit that Angel Kiss's quality is uncanny. I've tried also Cosmic Fate, but I think Angel Kiss is *THE BEST* holo in my stash. Seriously. It's actually perfect.
